Cultivation

Sowing usually takes place from July until late August. Separate your seed band along the perforation into three strips and plant the strips at a row distance of at least 25 cm.
Place the seed band in a small seed furrow about 1 cm deep. Moisten the seed band itself slightly and cover it with moist soil. At a germination temperature of 10 - 20° C, germination takes place after an average of 1 - 3 weeks.

Harvest

From November onwards, you can harvest your lamb's lettuce regularly, except during severe frost temperatures.

Kitchen

Place the lettuce briefly in ice-cold water before preparing to keep the leaves crisp.
